Introduction

One of the essential steps to launch your email or SMS when preparing your SAM campaigns is to create at least one target to reach.

Create or modify a target which can be either static or dynamic.

A dynamic target is a target that will evolve on its own over time according to the query criteria that you have defined.

A static target, on the contrary, constitutes a photograph at a given moment in time. The list of contacts in the target will not vary.

Then use either the query engine to select your filters (SQL query option is available for expert users).

Create your query by the related target/s.

A target is the result of query, expressed through filters and conditions, which provides a list of contacts that fulfill those conditions.
In S-360 a target can be dynamic or static.

A static target works like a still picture taken in a given time that won't change its results once created.
On the other hand a dynamic target will update the list of included contacts running it query over the time.

Create a new target

Click on NEW to create a new target.
The first choice to make is indeed the type, between static and dynamic. Please note you won't be able to change the type afterwards.
