What is NFC Ticketing?
NFC ticketing is a technology-driven system that leverages Near Field Communication (NFC) to facilitate contactless ticket transactions.
NFC is a short-range wireless technology that enables two devices to exchange data when brought into close proximity, typically within a few centimeters.
With NFC ticketing, spectators can store their tickets on smartphones equipped with NFC chips and simply tap their device against an NFC-enabled reader to gain entry to an event.

TIXNGO now supports both QR code and NFC ticketing, making it compatible with a variety of access control technologies used at event venues. NFC tickets must be stored in either Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and organizers can configure this option directly through the TIXNGO Backoffice.

Set up infrastructure
The access control systems use a key pair authentication mechanism. After setting up your access control, please send us the public key, which will be embedded into the tickets. This allows the tickets to be validated by the access control system.
