Context

Google is going to introduce a new requirement to enable Application Users to delete their account via a web resource.

If your app enables account creation, you must:

• provide users with an in-app path to delete their app accounts and associated data
• provide a web link resource where users can request app account deletion and associated data deletion. 

What happens next ?

Our recommendation

The easiest method is to add a paragraph in your Privacy Notice explaining that the user can delete their account through the app or by sending an email.

Note: If you prefer, you can create a new dedicated form on your website where spectators can request the deletion of their account.
