SecuTix allows two SecuTix instances to be connected through the inter-institution interface. The underlying principle is that one institution sells tickets for the other.

In such cases, for a given product, one institution is the Manager, the other one the Reseller.
Let's suppose that we have two institutions, MANAG (the Manager) and RESELL (the reseller).
In the case MANAG is supporting SwissPass cards, it can allow their customers to use either SwissPass card or SwissPass technical RFID tag to go though access control (a reference article here)
The following improvement has been implemented: if RESELL also use SwissPass cards, then both SwissPass card and SwissPass technical RFID tag are merged and sent through the interface when integrated back to MANAG.
Example:
Below is a ticket sold on RESELL, loaded into a SwissPass card
That ticket is integrated to MANAG, both SwissPass card number and RFID tag is merged and stored in the ticket.
Thanks to this feature your customer could go though access control (provided by Secutix) by either SwissPass card or RFID tag (technical number)
