Now that you've gone though all the content of the SAM 1 training, I have a few exercises and questions to suggest so you can get a bit more comfortable with Secutix and fix the most important elements. Try not to peek at the answers beforehand!

1 - Create a public individual contact file

How to create a contact file

2 - Create a structure contact file

Ui expand
titleAnswer

How to create a contact file, same but from the "Structure" menu in the contact module.

3 - Create a relay contact file. There are two several ways to do it, would you be able to list them?

Ui expand
titleAnswer
  • From the structure contact file you can create its relays
  • Creating a public individual contact + creating a structure contact file and linking them: You can link them starting from either one!
  • From the public individual contact file you can also create a new structure contact when searching to link them to a structure
  • In the structure menu, after searching, there's also a button to create directly a new relay

4 - Why shouldn't you turn a public individual contact file with a history into a relay?

Ui expand
titleAnswer

1. The types of contacts: It is very important not to turn an individual public contact file with any history (events attendance, purchases...) into a relay: all the history of the individual contact file would then be linked to the structure that individual would be a relay of.

5 - What's the difference between the cultural, purchase, attendance and financial historieshistory?

3. The contact file:

  • Purchase history: Set of orders made by a contact.
  • Cultural history: Set of products (events, passes, matches…) which the contact has a ticket for. It can be a ticket under their name that they haven't purchased personally, but that someone else has purchased for them.
  • Attendance history: Tickets that have been controlled at the access of the venue (museum, concert, opera...).
  • Financial history: Set of payments made by the contact.

6 - Search for all the relays of a popular school name in your region (eg. Jules Ferry)

2. How to find a contact:

In France, there are many "Jules Ferry" schools: École maternelle Jules Ferry, École Jules Ferry, Lycée Jules Ferry, Collège Jules Ferry, École Jules Ferry...

To keep all the options open, use *Jules Ferry, in the Individual contact menu or in the Structure contact menu.

7 - You have to find the contact file of someone that just called, but you just understood the end of their family name. How would you search for it?

2. How to find a contact:

You would need to start with * plus the end of the family name. And to make sure to search just for the family name, add a coma after the end of the family name. It should look like this for a family name that ends or contains "pont":

*pont,
