Dufour V4 release notes on the new reporting tool.

Look no longer! With a few clicks, you get the report you need. More data?Different sorting? You're free to create as many variations as you need, share them and export them. Many new fields have been released in Dufour V4.

The new fields

Sales list

In this field, as the name suggests, you will find information on sales, such as product sales, sales made through a certain sales channel or even the detail of sales for a given performance. Alternatively, this field can provide a current view or historical view (which shows refunds and reservation cancellations).

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Client list for a product
  • List of sales and bookings

Cultural history

This field is closely related to the sales list. However, it highlights the cultural contact (i.e. someone who actually attended the show or visited the museum or park) while the sales list highlights the purchase contact.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Recipe and reservations per client
  • List of clients details

List of payments

This field includes all the information on payments and receipts. If you have an accounting interface, you can, for instance, filter exported payments to ascertain which ones have already been transferred to the accounting system.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • List of receipts
  • Consolidation of receipts
  • Summary of payments
  • List of receipts per payment methods and date
  • Memorandum of cheques
  • Memorandum of bank levies

Attendance

How did attendance change throughout the day? What day of the week saw the highest attendance? Where do your customers come from and in what age groups do they belong? How many people bought a ticket but did not attend? By combining information from sales and access control, this new field can answer all these questions and many others. As such, you now have, in a single report, information for a given performance as regards capacity, the number of tickets sold and the number of tickets checked at access control!

You can fine tune groupings by day, by week or by month, for instance.

If you work with non-dated passes, you can track their actual use, i.e. the day on which the pass was checked at access control.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Gauges, quotas, occupancy rate and rate of sales
  • View of entries per period
  • Contacts provenance review

List of seats

This field allows you to obtain reports with the list of seats for a performance or contingent, for instance, and all manner of information relating to the seat, including status and contact information. The second report, "Liste des place dans un contingent", is particularly useful to those working with external distributors, for instance. With its many grouping options, this report can also provide an overall view of the configuration of a performance, such as the number of seats sold, reserved, free or voided, by area.

This updated report supersedes the previous reports:

  • List of seats details and status per per performance and contingent

List of tickets

This field allows you to extract all manner of information on the tickets for a product, a performance or a slot. You can, for instance, filter for a validity period to check the relationship between used tickets and unused tickets. For each ticket, the system can show placement information, print status, access control status or even contact-related information.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • List of tickets to edit
  • Memorandum of control access
  • Summary of control access

Tax control sheet

This is an exact copy of the former report of the same name. It provides very detailed information on a particular ticket.

List of invoices

This field allows you to sort reports on the monitoring of the payment of your invoices. This new field allows you to more easily identify the invoices that are not paid on time. In addition to displaying the amount due, this field uses payment deadlines (payment by waiting account with monitoring) to notify you, for instance, of the invoices that have been in default for more than 10 days. For our customers using the accounting interface, this field can also provide a list of invoices that have not yet been transferred to the accounting software.

This updated report supersedes the previous reports:

  • List of invoices

Account monitoring

This field has a series of reports that allow you to monitor your customers' various waiting, credit and deposit accounts. The reports provide both information on the status of the accounts (e.g., all waiting accounts with a balance greater than €100) and on account movements.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Memorandum of credit balance movements
  • Memorandum of pending account movements
  • Memorandum of deposits account movements
  • Movements tracking of credit balance
  • Tracking of pending account
  • Movements tracking of pending account

Availability of halls

This field focuses on everything relating to the availability of the performances. Depending on the selected report, you can show information either by contingent or by seat category.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Summary of configuration

Product tracking

This field allows you to sort reports, thereby giving you information on a given product, including the number of sales, reservations and options and availability. This field can be used for any product family.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Sales, booking and option status
  • Product follow up
  • Contingents statements

  • Options status

  • Summary sales for visits

Fee proceeds by product or channel

This field contains all items that enable you to track the proceeds arising from the various types of fees you apply. Whether for a given product family, a sales channel or simply a specific performance, you will easily find all these items. If you use fee schedules with price breakdowns, you will also find in this field the proceeds arising from various price components.

This updated report supersedes the previous reports:

  • Summary of fees

Shop products

This field provides the status of the stock of shop products and purchase log of these products. It provides many filter and data grouping options. For example, you can choose the level of detail for stock status. As part of further developments, the "Recette de produit" field will be extended to provide the purchase price and the margin earned on shop products.

These updated reports supersedes the previous reports:

  • Sales status of goods products
  • Sales journal

Recette LFP (conçu pour les professionnels du foot français)

This field is composed of two standard reports in accordance with the directives of the French Football League (LFP).

They replace the two reports provided by the former reporting tool; the first report is based on VAT and the other on the performing arts tax.

Entertainment taxes (designed for Lausanne customers subject to the entertainment tax)

Two standard reports especially designed for our Lausanne customers subject to the entertainment taxes. They replace the two reports provided by former reporting tool; the first report provides information on the sales of the performance and the second on membership sales.

Exclusive reports

In rare cases, there may be a need that cannot be met by the fields provided, especially when the need simultaneously touches on numerous several business fields. As in the past, SecuTix is able to develop specific reports on request. These reports can easily be integrated into the new tool without having to wait for the next version of SecuTix. This is a paid service.

Export reports to Excel

You can go further analyse your data by exporting your report to Excel. The exported data are in a readily usable format, so as to populate your own Excel sheet.

Co-existence with existing reporting tools

The new reporting tool is based on SSRS. It is intended to eventually replace the former operations reports based on the Crystal Reports tool, EQB reports and the BI. Initially, the new reporting tool will coexist with the existing reports. Accordingly, we invite you to use the new reports as they become available and to send us your comments.

Display only the reports you need

As mentioned, we decided to provide you all the new reports. It is however possible that some of them may not be useful to you. In order to avoid unnecessarily enlarging your library of reports, you can easily delete those you do not want to use. To do this, simply select the report you want to remove from the library of reports and click Delete.
