ContextWV.1.6 Using the mobile operator without a payment terminal is now possible. We have removed all the hardware contraints coming with the payment process, meaning that you can now use the mobile operator with any tablet model when set in this new read only mode.
Solution
The mobile box-office was initially designed to perfomed sales on site with your customer in the waiting line or just to deliver a great customer experience on site. We have recently added several features and screen to let your sales agent welcome groups with group visit calendar for example. In some cases, it can useful to only use a tablet to welcome your groups without the need for doing sales / exchange. Therefore the box-office can now be configured without a payment terminal which open the possibility to use any tablet to look at the group calendar.
Highlight
Please note that not having a payment terminal connected means that you cannot do sales / exchanges / printing with the mobile box-office.
Getting started
Go to Organization context >>Initialisation >> Sales channels >> Select a mobile operator sales channel >> point of sales >> Tab "vending machine parameters" >> enable the new configuration option "Allow login without TPE connected"
