Introduction

Together with targets creating your email templates is crucial to set up your campaigns.

General buttons allow you to create, delete, duplicate or archive a template.

Archive: It changes the status of the template, which can be filtered and excluded from the list displayed on the screen. An archived template is no longer editable (you can still duplicate it and then edit the copy).

Create a new template

You first need to define what type of email you want to create (informative) and in which language.

As email editor type you should keep the default value, designer, which will allow you to use an easy drag-and-drop editor.

In General, fill all the mandatory fields. Here you can set the object your email will have when sent through a campaign.
The sender email and the reply email are also very important.

1 and 2 - Important: a custom email address will require a proper configuration of SPF/DKIM/DMARC. See more info here: How to maximize the deliverability of emails?
It is recommended to use a different email address rather than the one already set for transactional emails/documents.

Edit a new template

With the designer editor type it is very easy to create your template.
See this page for a more in depth guide to the editor capabilities: The Designer email editor.

Please note a few content types are not supported (dynamic, html, menu).

Recommendation: don't forget to test your email using the dedicated button. You can send the test to yourself or to a contact of your choice (existing or to be created)
