Simple event statistics in Backoffice
Overview
The Event statistics Backoffice screen gives you a clear, trusted snapshot of ticket activity for one or several events at a specific point in time, helping organizers make informed decisions throughout the event lifecycle.
Common Use Cases are:
Monitoring live event-day activity,
Analyzing transfer trends,
Tracking audience engagement before and during the event.
Whether you're reviewing past performance or checking current status, this screen helps ensure you always have accurate, up-to-date insights into what's happening with your tickets.
In this screen you can:
Select 1 to 8 events and see their global, activation, and transfer statistics side by side.
View near‑live data by default (latest available values) or choose a precise date & time in the past to see how the figures looked at that moment.
These parameters, particularly the event selection, persist in your browser and reapply each time you return to this screen.
Please refer to the sections below to understand the available numbers, what they represent and some important details on how they are computed :
Global statistics
Overview
The Global statistics section gives you an overall view of ticket volume and key status for the selected events: how many tickets exist, how many are usable (not deleted), how many are downloaded, and how many are activated & controlled.
Metrics definitions
Statistic on screen | What it means | Includes / excludes / notes |
|---|---|---|
Total | Total number of tickets injected. | Includes deleted tickets. |
Deleted | Total number of deleted tickets. | Includes tickets currently in deletion pending status. |
Total valid | Total number of non‑deleted tickets. | Excludes deleted tickets. These are the tickets that can still be used. |
Downloaded | Total number of tickets that are currently present on at least one device. |
|
Not downloaded | Total number of tickets that are not currently present on any device. | Includes tickets never downloaded and tickets that were downloaded before but the user logged off. |
Never downloaded | Number of tickets that have never been downloaded on any device. | Subset of Not downloaded. These tickets have no download history at all. |
Pending transfer | Total number of tickets that are currently in pending transfer status. | The transfer has been initiated but not accepted yet. |
Activated | Total number of tickets that have been activated. | Excludes deleted tickets. Only valid tickets with an activation reported by an online device are counted. It can happen that the phone is unable to report activations to the TIXNGO system, typically in case of bad or absent network connectivity. It is thus normal that this number is partial and lower than the number of controlled tickets after the event. |
Controlled | Total number of tickets that have been controlled by the access control system. | Excludes deleted tickets. Only valid tickets are counted. Delays are expected in that metric, as it takes some time for this information to be transmitted from the access control system to S-360 and then to TIXNGO. |
Percentages in Global statistics
All percentages in this section are calculated against Valid tickets (non-deleted).
Some figures overlap (e.g., Downloaded, Controlled, Activated), so their percentages can add up to more than 100%.
Activation statistics
Overview
The Activation statistics section focuses on how tickets have been activated: offline, manually, or not at all. This helps you track activation progress before gate opening and then onsite resolution operations.
Metrics definitions
All these counts exclude deleted tickets.
Statistic on screen | What it means |
|---|---|
Activated | Total number of activated tickets |
Offline activated | Total number of tickets activated in offline mode. |
Manual activated | Total number of tickets that were manually activated. |
Percentages in Activation statistics
Percentages for Offline activated and Manual activated are calculated against Activated tickets.
The two percentages (Offline + Manual) add up to 100% of Activated tickets.
Transfer statistics
Overview
The Transfer statistics section shows how often tickets have been successfully transferred, and also how many have never been transferred.
All transfer statistics include deleted tickets to be sure to track accurately the spectator behavior regardless of tickets validity.
Returning a ticket to the previous owner also counts as a transfer.
Metrics definitions
Statistic on screen | What it means | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Total | Total number of tickets injected. |
|
Never transferred | Number of tickets that have never been transferred (no accepted transfer yet). | A ticket in pending transfer status may still be counted as “never transferred” until the transfer is accepted if it’s the first transfer. |
Transferred once | Number of tickets with exactly one successful transfer. | Includes deleted tickets. |
Transferred twice | Number of tickets with exactly two successful transfers. | Includes returns to a previous owner and deleted tickets. Counts each ticket only once, when its total successful transfers = 2. |
Transferred 3 times | Number of tickets with exactly three successful transfers. | Includes returns to a previous owner and deleted tickets. Counts each ticket only once, when its total successful transfers = 3. |
Transferred 4+ times | Number of tickets with four or more successful transfers. | Includes returns to a previous owner and deleted tickets. Any ticket with ≥ 4 successful transfers is counted here. |
Percentages in Transfer statistics
Percentages for Transferred once, twice, 3 times, 4+ times and Never transferred are calculated against Total tickets for the selected events (so included deleted tickets).
These distribution percentages sum to 100%.
