When we first introduced FairTrade, our peer-to-peer (P2P) ticket resale service, we envisioned a promising addition to our platform that would increase revenue by monetizing transfers. The idea was to innovate and provide you with more flexibility and options in ticket reselling.

However, despite the outcome did not align with the initial expectations. Despite its potential, it became clear that the feature did not resonate as we had hoped and it did not find its public while lowering globally system performances. This realization has been pivotal in guiding our decision to decommission the featureFairTrade failed to resonate with the intended audience and did not achieve widespread adoption. Moreover, it was observed that the feature adversely affected the overall system performance. This underperformance and lack of user engagement led to a critical reassessment of FairTrade.

The realization of its limited success and impact on system performance was a key factor in the decision to decommission the feature. This decision reflects a strategic pivot, prioritizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the platform over the continued support of a feature that did not meet its intended goals.
