Solution
It is now possible to load all the performances/matches of a given event/competition and easily sell them in a single basket using the optimized single screen of the "Cart without map" screen of the Quick sales module. The option for the operator to select the area/contingent can now be turned off in order to let the system automatically select the best one and further simplify the sales process. Finally, the contact details widget has been included in the screen and an easy access to the contact detail pop-up completes this set of improvement transforming the screen from a pure "d-day sales" screen to a screen also capable of handling competition-focused on-site sales.
Getting started
Operator rights
Two new operator rights have been added to allow optimizing the display for different use-cases:
- Allow area/contingent selection: without this right, the corresponding panel will be hidden and the system will automatically use the contingent with the most availability.
- Add other performances/matches of the same event/competition: with this right, the performance/match selection panel will be displayed on the top left corner listing all the performances/matches of the same event/competition of the one initially selected in the performance/match selection pop-up.
Quick sales
- The contact search widget (A) has been tweaked to make it consistent across sales modules and to allow an easy access to the contact details pop-up once a contact is selected, by clicking on the contact icon button.
- A new performance/match selection panel (B) has been added to allow selling different events/matches from the same event/competition. The cart has also been adapted with the addition of the performance/match column (D).
- The area/contingent selection panel (C) can be hidden to let the system automatically select the best seats in the contingent with the most availability.
- The contact detail panel (E), found in the sales module, has been added here to easily verify contact information. Note that this panel triggers the display of the contact details on the public screen, provided the right "Display contact information in the public screen" was granted to the operator (see Weisshorn V2.12 release notes).
