titleNEW V2.39
A set of key features of the seat map editor have been tweaked in order to improve the user experience.

Navigation map

A small but effective feature has been added to the navigation map of the back-end seat map. It was already possible to click on the navigation map to move from one side of the map to another.

Operators can now (re-)draw the red rectangle of the navigation map by using CTRL-click and moving the mouse. This not only allows moving around the map but also changing the zoom level, thus immediately focusing on the desired part of the map.

Arrow key navigation

When no seats or cosmetics are selected, you can use the arrow keys to navigate around the map. In combination with the navigation map, this feature is particularly useful to precisely move the view box to the desired location.

Vicinity tool

The vicinity tool is now also available directly during the initial creation of a seat map, so you do not need to wait the physical configuration creation to compute the vicinities.

Edit block button

The edit block button is now also available in the seat toolbar. Indeed, the button displayed close to the block itself may be hard to spot or even outside of the view box.

Layer visibility configuration

Seat, cosmetic and background layers can be toggled to make them visible or not. This is useful for very large maps when working on only one layer to reduce the CPU and memory usage.

Seat/cosmetic locking option

Seat or cosmetic layer can be locked in order to work exclusively on one or the other, without having to systematically click on the "seat only" or "cosmetic only" button.

Horizontally/vertically distribution

Graphical elements can be distributed horizontally or vertically, using the two new actions of the Arrange tool of the contextual tool bar, under the Align menu entry.

Note that the precision of the distribution will only go as far as the basic unit, i.e., one pixel.

Add row label action

a row label can be added behind, in front or on each side of selected seats. The is useful for special cases, e.g., isolated seats. The system will check that the new labels are not added below another seat.
