What is NFC ticketing?

NFC ticketing is a technology-based system that uses Near Field Communication (NFC) to enable ticket transactions via contactless communication. NFC is a short-range wireless technology that allows two devices to exchange data when they are brought close together, typically within a few centimeters. Spectators can store their tickets on smartphones equipped with NFC chips. To enter an event, they just tap their phone against an NFC-enabled reader.

Why is NFC ticketing?

No matter what technology the access control system at your event venue uses, TIXNGO now supports both QR code and NFC ticketing.
The NFC ticket requires spectators to use either Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. As an organizer, you are required to configure the system through the TIXNGO Backoffice.

How to set up NFC ticketing?

Set up infrastructure

The access control systems use a key pair authentication mechanism. After setting up your access control, please send us the public key, which will be embedded into the tickets. This allows the tickets to be validated by the access control system.
