How to create a gate?

Detailed guide

  1. Open the Access Control module in the Organization context.

  2. Go to the menu Tools > Infrastructure and click on Gates

 

3. Click on the button New and fill in the name for the new gate.

4. Associate it with a control device and save.

 

gate naming convention

When naming your gates, please make sure to not use a dash "-" only the underscore "_" character should be used

example:

  • GECSM-GATE### is not correct  

  • GECSM_GATE## is correct 

The dash character is used in barcodes therefore your access control android device will interpret it as a ticket barcode and not as a code for a gate, resulting in an error.
