Contact criteria can be useful for many different purposes and provide further information on contacts. In some cases, this information is vital for certain operations like post-sales seating in order to ensure that certain types of contacts are seated in specific locations and not in others. Having a visual representation of this information directly on the map can thus be very valuable.
It can also be useful to do some basic analytics after the performance or match and have a look at where in your venue certain types of customer are located, e.g., those who have subscribed to your newsletter.Using network printers instead of ticket printers dedicated to each workstation provides numerous benefits, in particular:
- You can use your printers more efficiently by sharing them across several workstations
- You can install your printers in a dedicated secure room, in order to prevent any risk of theft of secure thermal paper
- You can save some space at the work places
Solution
The extensive list of view modes has been extended to include all the contact criteria of type RADIO or DROPDOWN applied to individual contacts and both (individual contacts and structures). The contact criteria view modes will work similarly to the file view mode and asynchronously load the contact criteria value for the main contact of each seat.
Color configuration can be applied to change the automatically generated colors for each criteria value.
Getting started
Go to the seat map, in the sales configuration (performance or match) or the sales, quick sales and seating module, and simply select one of the contact criteria view modes.
Please note that for large venues with a lot of sales, the initial loading of values may take some time. A message will inform you when the data has been retrieved, similarly than for the file view mode.
