Ticket ownership transfer

Ticket ownership can now be configured to work in different ways: bearer tickets or none-bearer tickets, and anything in the middle. For bearer ticket mode, the cultural contact is the owner and can put the ticket on resale and receive the money from the resale. For none-bearer ticket mode, the main contact is the owner. For the specificities of the US market, the ownership of none-bearer tickets can autonomously be transferred by the current owner. Authorized friends&family members can also put tickets on resale on behalf the owner.A configuration option is available at organization level to set which mode is used. The configuration can be distinct for different contingents. On top of that, allowing the transfer of ownership option can be triggered at point of sales level.

Cross-selling for reservations

Your sales phases include creating reservations to be paid online? Cross-selling opportunities are now available not just during ticket purchases, but also when finalising tickets reservation, even if the performances or matches are no longer available for sales.

The check-out process when paying a reservation now includes a cross-selling step to display products based on the content of the reservation. The user can then easily add cross-selling products and pay them in the same transaction as the reservations.
No separate configuration is needed for reservations. The system uses the same cross-sell settings as in normal sales. Cross-selling products (upselling, hit selling, cross-selling, conditional cross-sell) appear on a separate page during checkout.

Security & Performance Enhancements for Ticketshop

We’re rolling out new infrastructure improvements to all Ticketshops, aimed at boosting both security and performance. This includes:

  • Amazon CloudFront, with its global content delivery network, brings faster page loading through advanced caching and  edge-level filtering — ensuring a more responsive experience for your users, especially under high traffic.

  • AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF) adds a new layer of intelligent request filtering and throttling, protecting your Ticketshop against common web threats and abusive traffic patterns.

These enhancements will be deployed progressively through the end of May.

They reinforce our platform’s resilience and scalability without disrupting existing features. Our team may reach out if any action is needed on your side during the rollout.
